San Benito Police were called to the 2100 Block of Yost Street by a female who claimed she’d been in a fight with her boyfriend Oscar Gracia, 29.

The woman told police she injured her left wrist while trying to get her boyfriend off from her.

Police later found the man hiding inside a bedroom closet.

He was arrested for assault and having $8,456.80 in outstanding municipal court fines.

Gracia was taken to the city jail where he was arraigned by Municipal Judge David Garza who set bond at $3,000.
