Authorities are investigating a bar stabbing in the city of San Juan.
According to police, two men were involved in an altercation at the La Posada Bar on Western Road late Wednesday night.
The victim was stabbed multiple times.
Police told Action 4 News his suspected attacker, Marcelino Salas, fled the scene in a vehicle.
On Thursday, a tipster told police Salas abandoned the vehicle linked to the stabbing on Daffodil Avenue and 31st Street.
When police arrived, Salas was nowhere to be found, but they did recovered the vehicle.
Two McAllen schools, McAuliffe and Seguin Elementary, were placed on precautionary lockdown while police combed the area for Salas.
The lockdown was lift minutes later.
Investigators told Action 4 News Salas turned himself late Thursday afternoon.
