Republican celebrity George P. Bush is expected to make a series of appearances in the Rio Grande Valley on Monday.
Bush is confirmed to appear at the Boys & Girls Club of Pharr at 4:30 p.m. Monday, October 29th.
Pharr city officials said Bush is expected to meet with staff and volunteers at the facilty and then view the construction site of the new Boys & Girls Club on Fir Street.
Bush is then expected to meet with fruit and vegetable shippers at the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge.
Officials with the Cameron County Republican Party said Bush is also expected to make an appearance on Monday morning in Harlingen.
According to party officials, Bush will be at the Harlingen Republican Headquarters 638 N. 13th St. across from the Movies 10. at 10:15 a.m. Monday.
Bush does not hold political office but is the son of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and nephew of former President George W. Bush. He is also the grandson of former President George H.W. Bush.
George P. Bush is a graduate of Rice University and the University of Texas School of Law.
