Authorities have reported making a second arrest in a kidnapping that took place on the UTPA campus in Edinburg.

UTPA officials reported that a 20-year-old Pharr man is the second suspect arrested in the September 25th kidnapping.

Investigators are not releasing his identity or mug shot until his Saturday morning arraignment.

Just earlier this week, police arrested Miguel Angel Navarro as the first suspect identified in the case.

But UTPA police are asking for the public's help in locating 28-year-old Onan Herrera-Sanchez, the third suspect in the case.

Police report that Herrera-Sanchez is a Honduran national who lives in Pharr and goes by the alias Frank Omar Landaverde.

Sanchez is described as 6-feet tall and weighing more than 200 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Police released a picture of him in hopes of finding him.

Anyone with information about Herrera-Sanchez’s whereabouts is asked to call the UTPA Police Department at (956) 665-7151.
