Brownsville police investigating shooting of 28-year-old man

A 28-year-old man is dead following a Sunday morning shooting in Brownsville.

It happened on the 2300 block of Shidler Ave at around 12:50 a.m.

Brownsville police said the victim was shot in the chest by an unknown suspect.

He was taken to the hospital, but died shortly after.

No motive has been established yet, and the case is currently under investigation.
