Edinburg teen killed in drive-by shooting

A 17-year-old boy is dead after a Saturday morning drive-by shooting.

Edinburg police responded to a home on the 300 block of S. 29th St.

When they got to the scene, officers found the 17-year-old with gunshot wounds.

It is still unclear how many times he was shot or where he was shot.

The boy was rushed to the hospital and pronounced dead a short time after arrival.

Witnesses have given police a description of the vehicle involved in the drive-by.

Police told Action 4 News that they are looking for multiple suspects, and one woman has been arrested.

The suspects role in the murder is unknown at this time, but she is in custody relating to this crime.

Action 4 News will provide more information as new details become known.
