Fire reported inside paper shredding truck in Harlingen

Authorities are investigating the cause of a fire inside a work truck used by a paper shredding company in Harlingen.

It all happened outside the ACT Call Center off Morgan Boulevard around 11:45 a.m. Thursday.

Firefighters were called to put out a fire in the rear compartment of the truck.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

The truck is used to go from business to business for mobile and bulk paper shredding services.

Action 4 News will provide more information as it becomes available.
