Pickup truck hits moving train in Brownsville

A man survived a Thursday morning accident between his pickup truck and a moving train.

It all happened at the railroad tracks on Alton Gloor Boulevard and West Salida Road shortly before 11 a.m. Thursday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that the man was waiting in his car for the train to pass but got tired of waiting.

The man tried driving around the last car of the train but it.

Authorities say his vehicle was only knicked by the train

The man didn't have any major injuries but his truck was damaged.
