A driver is recovering in the hospital after being airlifted following an auto accident in Edinburg.

It all happened off Holland and Monte Cristo Roads just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

An Action 4 news viewer sent photos from the scene.

A helicopter landed in a nearby field to take one person to the hospital.

No word on their condition at this time.
