A man accused of sexually abusing a 10-year-old Brownsville girl is behind bars after being arrested near Austin.
The U.S. Marshals Task Force recently arrested 61-year-old Bruce Wayne Parker in Georgetown.
Brownsville police told Action 4 News that Parker is accused of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
Investigators said a 10-year-old girl made an outcry back on August 16th.
Police found enough evidence for authorities to issue a warrant.
Parker was booked into Brownsville City Jail on Tuesday afternoon appeared before a judge on Tuesday morning.
The Brownsville man remains behind bars under a $150,000 dollar bond.
Records show that Parker did not appear to have a previous criminal history and last lived at Wales Drive, just blocks away from the Gladys Porter Zoo.
