A Mission family was awoken early this morning when four masked men burst into their home early Friday morning.

Mission police reported that it all happened at a home on Tencha Street around 3:30 a.m. Friday.

Investigators told Action 4 News the man, his wife, and baby were all asleep—when they heard a loud bang.

The man went to inspect the noise---that’s when he was allegedly hit in the head with a gun.

The victim claimed the men were looking for marijuana—something he did not have inside his home.

The victim said the suspects started to take other items, a playstation, televisions, and other electronics.

Luckily the victim’s wife and child were not harmed during the home invasion

Police believe all suspects are under the age of 20 and said that all were speaking Spanish.

They said the group took off in a black, 2008, GMC four door pick up.
