Costco in Pharr distributes backpacks to new elementary school

The COSTCO store in Pharr distributed 100 backpacks and $25 gift certificates to students who will be attending the new PSJA campus.

Aida C. Escobar Elementary is one out of five new schools in the PSJA Independent School District.

COSTCO Manager Jason Torres represented the store by helping pass out the supplies Saturday afternoon.

The new school was having a Meet the Teacher event.

The school is only a couple blocks east of the COSTCO store.
