A San Benito man is facing criminal charges after being accused of sexually abusing a teenage girl.

San Benito police arrested 38-year-old Jorge Conde on the 900 block of Arlington Street on Saturday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that Conde was wanted for sexual assault and indecency with a child.

Action 4 News does not identify victims of sexual abuse but police said the victim is a 15-year-old girl.

Investigators said the Child Protective Services first notified police officers about the crime.
