Teen handling gun accidently shoots two women in McAllen

McAllen police are investigating an accidental shooting that left two women injured.

Officers were called to a home at 2612 Quince Avenue.

A 14-year-old boy was handling a handgun inside the home.

The gun went off and struck two women inside the home, one in the chest, one in the leg.

Both women were transported and are in stable condition.

Shooting is still under investigation. There is no word on whether the teen will face charges.
