Authorities have released the 911 tapes following the arrest of country music singer Randy Travis.

Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) state troopers arrested Travis on DWI and retaliation charges late Tuesday night.

Callers on the 911 tapes reported finding Travis laying alongside a highway near the North Texas Town of Tioga.

One of them thought he was deer at first.

The country music singer was released on bond on Wednesday morning.

It's second time Travis has been arrested since February.
