McAllen driver hits tree, dies on impact

One man is dead after he crashed into a tree on a McAllen frontage road.

The accident happened just west of Bicentennial Boulevard around 2 a.m. on Sunday morning.

The driver had lost control of his truck and crashed into a tree on the side of the road.

He was ejected on impact and killed on the spot.

The reason for the crash, is still under investigation.
