A Rio Hondo man is behind bars after he was allegedly caught on camera watching a 12-year-old girl take a shower.
Rio Hondo police arrested 52-year-old Esteban Elizondo on an indecency with a child charge early Sunday morning.
Court records released Tuesday show that it all happened on the 100 block of Bluebonnet Street.
Elizondo allegedly watched the 12-year-old girl while she was taking a shower.
But the records show that the girl had a camera facing the restroom and recorded video of him in the act.
It's not clear why the girl had the camera set up to record everything but police took the camera and video into evidence.
Elizondo appeared before Cameron County Magistrate Judge Patricia Edelstein on Tuesday morning where he was issued a $35,000 dollar bond.
Records show that Elizondo has a criminal history that includes public intoxication and DWI.
