Teen jailed for marijuana, vandalizing police department bathroom

A teenager is behind bars after he got caught with marijuana and writing graffiti in the bathroom of the Brownsville Police Department.

Brownsville police arrested 17-year-old Sergio Eugene Ramirez on Thursday afternoon.

Investigators told Action 4 News that Ramirez was doing community service work at the police department at the time of the arrest.

Officers allegedly caught Ramirez writing graffiti in one of the police department’s restrooms.

It's not clear what he wrote but police reporting that Ramirez had a marker and a small but usable amount of marijuana on him.
