Authorities are investigating an auto accident that left a San Juan man dead.

It all happened off U.S. Highway 281 and Monte Cristo Road around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

Edinburg police told Action 4 News that 38-year-old Arnulfo Peña lost control of his pickup truck.

The San Juan man's Chevrolet Silverado truck rolled over during the accident.

Investigators said Peña was ejected from the pickup truck.

It's not clear if Peña was wearing his seat belt but police believe alcohol, speed and reckless driving may have all played factors.
