One of the fastest growing schools, and first charter schools in the valley is changing its name.
IRRA is now Ignite Public School.
Their new name reflects the expansion of its career-focused model, and its future growth in the region, state, and national arena.
Beto Gonzales visited Action 4 Sunrise to discuss Ignite Public Schools.
Ignite Public Schools will feature a careers-driven platform coupled with innovative and integrated curricula aimed at equipping all students for college, career and life.
All students at Ignite Public Schools will be taught, equipped and expected to graduate with a High School Diploma and a State Workforce Certification.
Mr. David Dunn, Executive Director of the Texas Charter Schools Association was a witness to the official signing of the Charter Amendment Request to officially change the name.
This officially launches Ignite Public Schools & Community Service Centers into the realm of career-focused K-12 instruction, designed to produce successful and productive citizens for our communities.
By virtue of its original birth, Ignite Public Schools is the number one Charter School in the Rio Grande Valley, first opened in 1994 and is currently serving the entire valley with locations in Mission, Edinburg, Weslaco, Brownsville, Harlingen, Raymondville and Rio Grande City.
