Two illegal immigrants rescued following rattlesnake bites

Two illegal immigrants from Guatemala are spending time in a Kingsville hospital after being bitten by a rattlesnake.

U.S. Border Patrol agents rescued them in a ranch near Kingsville early Tuesday monring.

Investigators told Action 4 News that the two immigrants were found together and suffering from snake bites.

The two immigrants were taken to the Christus Spohn Kleberg Hospital in Kingsville.

Border Patrol agents reported that the two immigrants will be processed for deported after they are released from the hospital.

Authorities have rescued 200 immigrants and found the bodies of 64 others in the South Texas brush.
