Body found blocks away from McAllen Police Department

Members of the Action 4 News team worked together to bring you this report.

Authorities continue to look for clues after finding a body was found near the McAllen Police Department on Sunday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that police found the body on the side of the road in front of several abandoned homes.

According to police, the man may have died of heat exhaustion.

An autopsy in underway on Monday morning to learn more about the man’s death.
