Authorities believe a bicyclist was the target of a Tuesday night drive-by shooting that took place in Roma.

The victim told police he was riding his bike on Dove Street on Tuesday night when someone drove and opened fire.

Fortunately, a bullet did not hit the cyclist.

The alleged shooter surrendered to police early Wednesday morning.

The suspect is now facing attempted murder charges.
