A 44-year-old woman from Los Fresnos died in a rollover accident near the Sarita checkpoint on Saturday.
The accident happened Saturday evening around 8:30 p.m.
Beatrice Cruz Garcia was traveling with three other people from Los Fresnos.
They were in a red Ford Explorer going northbound on Highway 77 when the car’s right rear tire blew out.
The driver of the vehicle over corrected and veered right, causing the car to roll over.
Beatrice was pronounced dead at the scene.
The three other passengers were taken to Valley Baptist Medical Center for their injuries.
Their conditions remain unknown at this time.
