Deputies investigating body found floating in McAllen resaca

The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a body found floating at a resaca south of McAllen.

Border Patrol spokesperson Rosie Huey said agents spotted the body at about 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

They pulled the body from the resaca, located south of Bentsen Road in McAllen.

The case was turned over to the Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office.
