Two brothers are in jail and another one is a fugitive after all three of them allegedly attacked two people during an argument over an iPod.

It all happened on the 1100 block of West Johnson Avenue of Harlingen back on May 27th.

Investigators said a 33-year-old man and a 16-year-old had gone to speak to a teen at the suspects' home about the iPod.

That's when the three brothers allegedly attacked the two alleged victims striking them with their fists and even broom sticks.

According to police, the 16-year-old victim was so injured from major cuts and swelling that he had to be taken to the hospital.

The 33-year-old man declined medical attention but also suffered cuts and bruising to the face, body and head.

Police were able to find a 16-year-old suspect and his 21-year-old Aaron Mendoza at the home on Tuesday night.

Officers charged Mendoza with aggravated assault and took him to the Harlingen City Jail.

The juvenile was transported to the Darrell B. Hester Juvenile Detention Center in San Benito.

Police are still searching for the third suspect who was identified 26-year-old Sergio Mendoza.

Anyone with information about Mendoza’s whereabouts is asked to call Harlingen Crime Stoppers at (956) 425-TIPS.

Investigators say all three brothers are "gang members."
