Early voting for the Texas primaries is already underway.
Wednesday morning Cameron County Elections Administrator Roger Ortiz came by to talk about the voting process.
Early voting runs through May 25th and Election Day is May 29th.
Ortiz said that most Cameron County residents should have received their voter registration card by now, if not voters can still cast their ballots with their driver’s license or state issued ID card.
Early voting polling locations include the Cameron County Courthouse, the San Benito Annex building and the Harlingen Annex building among others.
