A Brownsville woman is facing criminal charges following a Tuesday night raid at an 8-liner arcade in Brownsville.

It all happened at an 8-liner arcade on the frontage road of Expressway 77/83 between FM 511 and FM 1732.

Special Investigations Unit agents with the Brownsville Police Department raid the arcade for illegal gambling.

Agents issued tickets for Class C misdemeanor gambling violations to 26 people there.

Investigators arrested 22-year-old arcade employee Myra Judith Luna on multiple criminal charges.

Authorities interviewed and released another employee due to medical conditions.

Luna appeared before a Brownsville municipal judge on Wednesday morning for keeping a gambling place, promotion of gambling and possession of gambling device charges.

The judge issued a total of $15,000 dollars in bonds for Luna.
