Man hospitalized after being stabbed by brother-in-law

A man is in the hospital after he was stabbed by his brother-in-law Friday night.

The stabbing happened on Mile 10 North Road and Mile 4 W Road in Weslaco.

Hidalgo County Sheriff's Department said the victim was having an argument with his brother-in-law when the suspect took out a knife and stabbed him.

The victim was taken to Knapp Medical Center and the suspect is expected to be charged with aggravated assault.
