Brownsville police identify man killed in motorcycle accident

Authorities have identified a 66-year-old man killed during a motorcycle accident in Brownsville.

The fatal accident happened on the 700 block of FM 511 around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Brownsville police said Richard Allen Remy died in the single-vehicle accident.

Investigators said the 66-year-old Brownsville man lost control of his motorcycle.

The motorcycle ended up on top of Remy in grassy area next to the road.

Paramedics rushed Remy to the hospital where police said he was later pronounced dead.

Authorities have ordered an autopsy to learn more about Remy’s death.
