Man, woman & baby expected to survive Alton shooting

A man, woman and a baby injured during a Tuesday night shooting in Alton are expected to survive.

It all happened off La Homa Road and Mile 10 North around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office deputies told Action 4 News that a family was attacked by gunmen.

One man was killed and another man was shot in the face.

Investigators said a woman was shot and a baby was grazed by a bullet.

The man shot in the face, the woman and her baby are all expected to survive the attack.

A Tuesday night manhunt of the area ended without results.

But deputies said the suspects remain unidentified and at large.

Action 4 News will provide more information as it becomes available.
