On Saturday, valley residents have the opportunity to take their pets to get low-cost spay/neuters and low-cost vaccines.

Pet owners can go to the Stillman Veternarian Clinic on 416 FM 11 in Olmito.

The clinic is located next to the Brownsville Animal Shelter.

The first 100 animals will get microchips installed for $5.

A microchip implant is placed under the animals skin that can help shelters give lost pets back to their proper owners.

The event is hosted by Tipotex Chevrolet in Brownsville and will be held from 1- 4:30 p.m.

More information about the event can be found at www.brownsvillepetneuter.com
