Owner of Illegal Brownsville arcade arrested

Paulyna Lucio Botello, was arrested after police raided her illegal gaming establishment, “Tuty’s Aracade” in Brownsville.

The 50-year-old woman, owner/manager, was taken into custody as the Brownsville Special Investigations Unit agents raided her arcade off Expressway 77 .

57 gaming machines and $862 were seized during the search.

Botello is charged with Gambling Promotion, possession of gambling device, keeping a gambling place and engaging in organized criminal activity.

Her bond was set at $25,000.

Two other arrests are pending and will be further investigated throughout the rest of this week.
