Seven people are behind bars after a routine traffic stop lead to a wild, multi-city chase that ended at the Mercedes rodeo.
It all started when a driver allegedly was parked on the wrong side of the road in Sullivan City.
A Texas Parks & Wildlife Department (TWPD) game warden stopped to see what was wrong but the vehicle took off.
The intense chase, which lasted more than one hour, was all caught on tape.
U.S. Border Patrol, Texas Department of Public Safetya and TPWD units were all involved.
The chase spanned through more than 12 cities and ended at the Rio Grande Valley Livestock Show & Rodeo grounds in Mercedes.
Authorities arrested seven people were but identified six of them as illegal immigrants from Central America.
The seventh person, who was identified as the driver, is in custody where he’s facing multiple charges.
