Man arrested for exposing himself at McAllen Public Library

A McAllen man is facing criminal charges after he allegedly exposed himself to a woman at the city’s public library.

McAllen police arrested 37-year-old Ernesto Macias under the authority of an indecent exposure warrant on Tuesday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that incident happened last week at the McAllen Public Library.

Police said Macias was pretending to sketch people at the library around noon last Thursday when he exposed himself to a woman.

The woman  reported the incident to police, who were able to identify Macias at the suspect and arrest him on Tuesday.

Macias appeared before a McAllen municipal judge who issued a $10,000 dollar bond.
