Edinburg man goes missing after grandfather's death

A Hidalgo County family has turned to Action 4 News after their 20-year-old son went missing on Monday.

The family of Benjamin Andrew Vasquez said he went missing on Monday.

Vasquez's grandfather passed away hat same day but the 20-year-old Edinburg man has not been heard from since.

Family members are planning the grandfather's funeral but also concerned about Vasquez's safety.

A missing persons report has been filed with the Edinburg Police Department.

Anyone with information about Vasquez's whereabouts is asked to call 956-398-7221.
