Harlingen Police said a driver tried using his SUV as a deadly weapon.
Police said two men got into a car accident then pulled into a Stripes store on the 2400 Block of Ed Carey.
According to witnesses, Manuel Gonzalez was the driver of the SUV.
Police said he got out to look at his car's damage then got back in and appeared to be driving off.
Witnesses said the other driver in the accident started taking pictures of Gonzalez's SUV as he drove away.
Police said that's when Gonzalez sped directly at him.
Police later caught up with Gonzalez.
They said he appeared intoxicated.
Gonzalez was given a total bond of $36,000.
