Authorities have identified the suspect and the victim in a fatal weekend stabbing that took place at a sports bar in Brownsville.

Investigators told Action 4 News that 22-year-old Ever Garcia Salinas was the victim in the fatal stabbing.

It all happened at the Upside Down Bar off Springmart Street.

Police said it all started with a fight that ended with a stabbing around 2 a.m. Sunday.

Investigators said detectives identified the suspect as 31-year-old Gustavo Adolfo Guerrero.

Guerrero allegedly fled the scene of the crime in a black Land Rover SUV and is now wanted on a murder charge.

Authorities found the SUV on the 300 block of Champion Street.

Guerrero's last known address was listed as 7 Woodhollow Street in Brownsville.
