A man crashes into another car on Nolana and Alamo Road and then makes a run for it.

But he was captured a short time later after Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) state troopers got involved on Wednesday afternoon.

DPS spokesperson Johnny Hernandez told Action 4 News that troopers on the ground and a helicopter were used to catch the suspect.

The man's named was not released but Hernandez said the suspect showed signs of intoxication during his arrest.

The occupants of the vehicle he ran into are said to be doing fine.
