A Hebbronville man is behind bars after being accused of murdering a Roma man known as 'El Brujo' or 'The Warlock.'

Starr County Sheriff's Office Deputies arrested Joe Alan Garcia on a murder charge Friday.

Investigators told Action 4 News that Garcia is accused in the October 2011 murder of Ricardo de la Cerda.

De la Cerda was found dead after being shot several times in his car.

An exact motive has not been released but investigators said it involved in an ongoing dispute.

Garcia remains in custody under a $1 million dollar bond.
