An illegal immigrant is in custody after ramming his vehicle into a Sullivan City police officer's car.

It happend around around 10:30 Saturday morning when an officer tried pulling the 21-year-old man over for a traffic stop.

Both vehicles ended up getting stuck in a field.

The suspect was eventually caught.
