A Brownsville man is behind bars after he allegedly had sexual contact with an teenage girl.
Brownsville police arrested 24-year-old Hugo Alfredo Salazar on an aggravated sexual assault of a child charge on Friday.
Investigators told Action 4 News that the incident happened back on December 28th.
The girl’s mother came forward on January 10th where she told police Salazar had sexually assaulted her teenage daughter.
Salazar allegedly implicated himself in the crime.
The 24-year-old Brownsville man appeared before a municipal judge where he was issued a $100,000 dollar bond.
