Starr County deputy hospitalized after chase, crash

A Starr County Sheriff's deputy was hospitalized late Monday night following a chase.

Action 4 News learned the deputy was engaged in a chase when the unit when the deputy struck a pole and was hospitalized.

The deputy's condition and identity is uknown.

At this hour, the sheriff's office is not releasing further details.

Action 4 News will post more information as it becomes available.
