Action 4 News is streaming video of the funeral for fallen McAllen soldier Kurt Kern.

The McAllen native was killed in the line of duty in Afghanistan back on December 27th.

Kern is being honored as a fallen hero.

A funeral for him will be held at the McAllen Convention Center on Sunday morning.

Kern is the 43rd Rio Grande Valley servicemember to die in the line of duty in Iraq or Afghanistan.
