Texas Department of Public Safety arrested two men after leading troopers on a chase that ended in a crash north of Mission.

Trooper Johnny Hernandez said the crash happened Thursday afternoon on FM 681 near the Moorefield Air Base.

The driver of a white two door car was speeding when he lost control of the car and crashed into a utility pole.

Troopers arrested the driver, who was allegedly intoxicated, as well as one of the passengers, another man.

A third passenger, a woman, was transported to McAllen Medical Center in stable condition.

DPS is not releasing their identities at this time.

The driver is expected to face charges for driving while intoxicated, evading arrest and failing to stop and render aid.

The passenger will face evading arrest charges.
