Two-car accident near San Benito sends four to hospital

Paramedics rushed three adults and one child to local hospitals following a two-car accident on the highway to La Paloma.

It all happened on FM 732 mid-Wednesday afternoon.

Investigators told Action 4 News news that the cause of the accident was not immediately known.

But authorities said three adults and one child from two cars were injured.

All of them were rushed to local hospitals.

Sugar cane was being burned along the highway but it's not clear if smoke from the fire contributed to the accident.
