A Mission man will spend seven years and seven months in federal prison and must pay a child pornography victim more than $926,000 dollars in restitution.
Julian Gonzalez appeared for sentencing before U.S. District Court Judge Randy Crane in McAllen on Monday.
The 31-year-old Mission man pleaded guilty to a child pornography charge back in July 2011.
Gonzalez admitted to taking in appropriate videos of a 12-year-old child on his cell phone.
Investigators found more than 130 videos of child pornography on his phone and two computers.
Judge Crane sentencing that Gonzalez serve seven and seven months in federal prison and ordered the Mission man pay $926,560.09 in restitution to the victim.
