Mexican army seizes drugs, guns & cash in Miguel Aleman, Reynosa

More than four tons of marijuana are off the streets following a series of seizures along the border in Miguel Aleman and Reynosa.

Mexico's Ministry of National Defense (SEDENA) reported on Thursday that soldiers had made the recent seizures.

Soldiers out on patrol seized more than 1,400 packaages with 4.7 tons of marijuana inside of them in the two cities.

One person is behind bars.

Soldiers also reported seizing four assault rifles, ammunition, radio equpment, a truck and $50,000 dollars in cash.
