Three Women Arrested for Shoplifting in Harlingen

Three women were arrested for shoplifting at the Harlingen Wal-Mart on Saturday.

Harlingen Police responded to a call from a Loss Prevention Officer at the Wal-Mart on Lincoln Street, off the Expressway, Saturday evening.

He told police he witnessed Sidney Dayle Cruz, Melany Alfaro and Samantha Marie Rivera hide several items and walk out of the store without paying for them.

The officer approached the three women at the parking lot and escorted them back to the store.

He told police he found beauty products and children’s clothing worth $55.99, concealed in their clothing.

Harlingen Police arrested the three women and charged them with theft.

They were given a 500 dollar bond each.
