The Primera City Commission is expected to take action next week on Police Chief Joe Rodriguez's resignation.

Chief Rodriguez submitted his resignation amid an investigation involving pornography found on his work computer.

He's been on suspension without pay since Tuesday for texting porn pics of a transgendered female to a Cameron County constable.

City commissioners are expected to meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday to discuss Chief Rodriguez’s resignation.
